This place was set up by Billy and his wife after they had sold out their iconic club in Kings Cross called the Cross. I wasn’t expecting such really excellent food I was expecting friendly service and a very good DJ. The restaurant and Club are in a wonderfully converted Pub in Kings Cross with a roof terrace.
I hired the Red Room at The Cross for my 60th birthday for 50 guests. Max, Larissa and team were very attentive on the evening and everything went smoothly. My guests loved the venue and thought it was a perfect place to celebrate my milestone birthday. The welcome drinks and canapes were fabulous and the service was very good. I would thoroughly recommend this space along with other rooms in the venue to celebrate any important occasion.
I celebrated my 50th birthday in the Barn room and it was perfect from start to finish. The bar staff are super attentive creating great cocktails and the sound system is fantastic! It was all very easy to organise with the help of the events manager. All my guests had a great night - it was everything I hoped it would be! Wouldn’t hesitate to host another event here in future - it’s an excellent venue with a great vibe! Thanks for hosting me a magical party !!
This place has everything you need for the perfect night out, no need to go anywhere else! The food was delicious and beautifully presented, and the cocktails were just as impressive. As the night went on, we moved from floor to floor as the space transformed into a high-energy, stylish nightclub with amazing music and an electric vibe. The staff were very attentive and kept everything running smoothly. A fab night from start to finish — we’ll definitely be back!
I don’t usually leave reviews, but this place absolutely deserves a 5-star one — especially thanks to Ripley, the incredible bartender on the terrace (what a gem!). Cross has the vibe of an exclusive private members’ club, with a chic scent in the air and fantastic DJs all night. I’ll definitely be coming back regularly.
We chose the cross for our wedding venue, and it couldn’t have been a better choice. Amie, max and the team were just fantastic. They went above and beyond for us and the day was so stress free, and perfect. The team were like a well oiled machine, nothing was too much trouble, and the food was INCREDIBLE. We had so many comments from our guests about how delicious it all was, and how kind the team were. I wish we could do it all again! We will absolutely host more events here in the future thanks for making the best day for us and all of our guests xxx
I recently celebrated my 40th birthday at The Cross and had a fantastic experience. A big thank you to the team for making the planning process so easy and for being so accommodating, especially with such a large dinner party. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was excellent throughout the evening. We ended the night on a high with a great DJ who kept everyone dancing with an excellent mix of tunes. I would highly recommend The Cross for a dinner or private event it was a truly memorable celebration.
A long overdue review... I had my work event at The Cross in September, and Larissa and Mark (owner) were beyond helpful! They thought of every detail, were super on top of it, and quick to reply via email as I am based in the US. We had our event in the Red Room for 70 people and had access to the rooftop. Larissa provided a list of DJs to hire for the event. For food, The Cross offers vegan, vegetarian, and meat lover items to select from. They accommodated a special gluten free meal for a person in my group. Drink and food prices were fitting for a large group, not cheap and not too expensive. The evening of the event, the staff, the bartender, and Mark were organized, professional, and the customer service was top notch. The Red Room had a speakeasy feel to it: nice chairs, good lighting, excellent sound system... unique, yet swanky.
